Gratitude
I, like many of you, have had some difficult times. Life is like waves of the ocean; we all have highs as well as lows. I have learned to accept the lows and have gratitude for the highs. The hardships have taught me amazing life lessons; after all, it was during those low points that I had to stop wasting money on curriculum and start really focusing on planning my own with the resources I already had. I struggled out of the cocoon, and it made me a butterfly with strong wings.
First, I am grateful to my love and best friend, who never complains no matter how many books I order or how many bookshelves we have to buy. He has also been my biggest supporter on this home school journey. He is my sounding board and is always pushing me to be my best self.
I am grateful for my children, all seven of them! Who have taught me just how abundantly and unconditionally one can love and that education is more about our relationships with each other and others. They have taught me that there is no point trudging through a book that is just mediocre. Our time with each other is precious and should be enjoyed reading great living books that delight and are not soporific. They have taught me, even though I never dreamed I would or could be a home school mom, that I can not imagine my days without the sights and sounds of our daily rhythm.
I am grateful to my family and friends who have supported me and our family during the hard times; and who have always been willing to help and encourage us along the way. You have been a source of inspiration and love.
Finally, I want to express my gratitude for each and every one of you, who have visited and subscribed to Classical Charlotte Mason, who have helped support my dream of helping others learn and navigate through home education. Those who have taught me in my continued education. We are all here to help one another and with each click and each purchase you make through affiliate links, I am able to continue my labor of love. This dream has taken many hours, days, weeks, months, and years to cultivate and grow and this is only the beginning. I hope my efforts here have blessed each and every one of you in some way. I can't thank you enough for your love and support throughout this journey!
