This past school year has been a challenging one. First off, we started late, not beginning until January 3rd. We still have a few weeks yet but I am proud of all we have accomplished under the circumstances, two pregnancies, two miscarriages and a real bad case of anemia.

There were some tweaks to my original plans along the way, one of the many benefits of homeschooling. This year we had a 5th, 3rd, and 1st grader. My youngest daughter, five, did participate this past year when she wanted to, listening to stories, writing her ABC'c, lots of coloring and dot markers. The rest of her time was spent playing with my youngest son, now three, while the big kids "did school."
